Two Sides, a print and paper advocacy group, has announced The Meliora Group as its newest member, a group which provides packaging, labels and commercial print services.

The Meliora Group is a collection of print companies whose heritage spans over 60 years. Companies part of the group include Delga, a printed carton board packaging and labels company, Scarbutts Printers, a commercial printer offering solutions for commercial design and print, and CSP, a supplier of print to the NHS, as well as the public sector, private healthcare, and education sectors.

Clair Melville-Brown, marketing and communications officer for Delga said, ‘Two Sides plays an important role in helping us to communicate to our audience about the sustainable aspects of print and paper-based packaging and we wanted to support the work that you do in helping us achieve this by becoming members.

‘Campaigns like Love Paper that raise awareness and bust the myths about the sustainability of the print industry are instrumental in creating a positive future for us and we’re pleased to play our part in supporting that.’

The Meliora Group seeks to minimise waste, promote recycling, reduce energy consumption, reduce harmful emissions and to work with suppliers and customers on practical environmental programmes.

Josh Birch, campaign manager of Two Sides UK added, ‘Our partnership with them [The Meliora Group] will help us communicate the great environmental story that print, paper, paper-based packaging and labels has to tell.’

By joining Two Sides, The Meliora Group now has access to co-brandable communications tools, consumer research, industry-leading information, sustainability advice, and events.
