Kodak has taken the decision not to exhibit at next year’s rearranged drupa.

Kodak is the latest big-name exhibitor to withdraw from the drupa 2021 floorplan, and follows in the footsteps of Bobst, Heidelberg, Komori, Screen and Siegwerk.

Jim Continenza, executive chairman at Eastman Kodak Company, commented, ‘Kodak’s commitment to the safety of our employees and customers during the Covid-19 pandemic is paramount. The continued concerns and impacts of the pandemic make it difficult for us to commit resources for such an event in these uncertain times.’

Kodak has stated that it will continue to invest in the print industry, ‘doubling down on digital print and delivering the products our customers need to drive productivity and growth as the industry evolves.’

The Kodak-powered Uteco Sapphire Evo M was recently selected as one of the winners of a 2020 InterTech Technology Award.

The rearranged drupa is scheduled for 20-28 April, 2021.
