Asteria Group has announced the addition of GT Etiketten & Labels, a label manufacturer based in Schoonebeek, the Netherlands, to its group of companies.
GT Etiketten produces labels using digital and flexo printing technologies and also manufactures blank labels in-house. The company serves customers in food labelling, beverage, cosmetics and other markets.
Its production capabilities include digital printing and eight-colour UV LED flexo printing, alongside in-house blank label production. The company also works with a range of materials and adhesives for different label applications, including specialist constructions such as duo-layer multilayer labels.
The acquisition adds production capacity and technical expertise to Asteria’s European network. GT Etiketten’s location in Schoonebeek also expands Asteria’s geographical presence in the Netherlands and provides opportunities for greater collaboration between its Dutch production sites.
GT Etiketten’s existing capabilities cover applications ranging from blank labels to printed and finished labels, with the company highlighting its ability to support short lead-time requirements through its in-house production capabilities and flexible manufacturing approach.
The company will bring expertise in food labelling, flexo production and specialist label constructions to the wider Asteria Group. In turn, GT Etiketten and its customers will gain access to Asteria’s European network, technologies and broader packaging capabilities.

Asteria said the addition is intended to combine the companies’ complementary production capabilities while maintaining GT Etiketten’s existing local knowledge, customer relationships and approach to service.
The company added that the expanded network will support customers operating across multiple markets by combining local production capabilities with access to capacity and expertise across Asteria’s European operations.
The acquisition also brings the GT Etiketten team into Asteria Group, with the companies expected to work together to develop their combined capabilities in the Netherlands and across Europe.
