Printing press manufacturer Nilpeter has announced an Expanded Colour Gamut (ECG)-themed Open House event to be held in April 2024 at its North American headquarters in Cincinnati, set to coincide with the opening of its new large-scale Technology & Educational Center.

This facility will demonstrate Nilpeter’s comprehensive product portfolio, including flexo, digital, and value-added technologies, highlighting what the company says is its dedication to quality and innovative spirit.

Nilpeter claims to have a ‘new focus’ aimed at leveraging modern manufacturing facilities in Cincinnati to prioritise customer support, including efficient spare-part deliveries. The company has an existing installation base of around 1000 printing presses across North and South America.

Peter Eriksen, COO at Nilpeter, stated, ‘Moving forward we wish to add a renewed focus on the manufacturing of original parts for all Nilpeter product lines – and be able to deliver parts efficiently and at a competitive price level. This will be the top priority of Nilpeter USA, which already operates modern manufacturing equipment and has a strong local install base.’

The Open House event will feature multiple different speakers knowledgeable in ECG. These include Mark Cook, chairman at Catapult Print, Chip Tonkin, chair at the Department of Graphic Communications at Clemson University, George Adam, president at Techkon Inc., and Ken Pavett, CEO at Flexografix Inc. Attendees can also enjoy live demonstrations of Nilpeter’s FA-Line, FB-Line, and other cutting-edge technologies, alongside exhibits from over 20 vendors.

Lenny DeGirolmo, managing director of Nilpeter USA, highlighted the significance of the investment in North America, commenting, ‘This Open House is a pivotal moment for Nilpeter to reinforce our global leadership. Attendees will experience our full product range and the latest innovations in Cincinnati. Our goal is to support the growth of our customers in the labels and flexible packaging markets.’
