The next edition of the successful Digital Print for Brand Success conference has been confirmed to take place on 24 March, 2022, providing the industry with the opportunity to gather, network, share and prepare for a post-pandemic world.

Digital Print for Brand Success has been held annually since 2013 in late autumn, but this year is moving to early spring in order to allow the industry to take advantage of the opportunities sooner for digital print for packaging in the short-, medium-, and long-term as the world starts to look to a time post-Covid. Whilst the label and packaging industry has fared well and in fact grown healthily over the course of the coronavirus pandemic, many involved with the industry now have questions about the way forward into a post-pandemic world.

Hosted at IET London: Savoy Place on 24 March, 2022, this year’s Digital Print for Brand Success will respond to these questions and more by providing attendees with meaningful, tangible and actionable insights from across the supply chain.

Digital Print For Brand Success 2019 panel

Funny and insightful, Digital Print for Brand Success always elicits lively debate

Those already confirmed to speak include former Coca-Cola and AB InBev executive Gregory Bentley, now employed by global packaging company WestRock as its EMEA design lead. He will be joined by Dean Zambardi of DDZ Artwork & Design for a live and exclusive Q&A discussing the future of packaging design, and how this relates to brands and their use of digital. Another highlight on the programme is independent brand owner Rupert Leigh of Jackpot Peanut Butter, who will look at how the pandemic has fundamentally changed the way brands communicate with customers, what consumers now expect from their brands, and relate this to the role packaging can and must play.

Also on the day, Amberley Labels will give a masterclass on its use of digital embellishment technology for the benefit of its customers, Transcend Packaging will talk about the power of digital to elevate brands and their packaging in the mind of consumers, and Fujifilm will take a look at the pros of print postponement. A panel discussion touching on the reality of being a printer during a global health crisis will round off the day, followed by a networking drinks reception.

Mark Wright, winner of BBC’s The Apprentice and founder of Climb Online, will give the keynote address, sharing his insights and experiences over the last 24 months, and reveal how to rebuild your business to ensure super success post Covid-19.
