Dantex Group is further expanding its equipment service capabilities in support of growing successful sales in the US.
This has seen Bruce Davidson recruited by Dantex USA as equipment engineer and technician, bringing the total engineering workforce to over 50. With more than 30 years of experience in the flexible packaging industry, Mr Davidson most recently spent over a decade as product development manager at Bemis. At Dantex, he will focus on product development, lean manufacturing and process improvement.
His appointment follows a string of corporate and product advances from Dantex in an effort to further its position in the US, from direct after-sales support and remote service support as necessary, to additional appointments and key installations. One of those has been Adflex Corporation, whose president Jeff Andolora commented, ‘The PicoColour has been a press we have become dependent on – it’s been a workhorse for us, providing us with very little downtime. However, when an issue does arise, the service and support team at Dantex is very responsive and has the issue resolved right away.’
