Next week’s All in Print China exhibition will help the region and the industry get ‘back on track’, according to inkjet digital printing expert Memjet.

All in Print China is a large-scale printing industry trade show, and has been staged seven times since 2003. The eighth edition opens next week in Shanghai (12-16 October, 2020).

Memjet is to be well represented, with four separate OEM partners demonstrating its technologies: Coaso will feature the iCueLabel 420 roll-to-roll label printer, powered by DuraFlex technology, and offering a 1600dpi print quality with print speed up to 46m/min in production mode/27m/min in high-quality mode; Shanghai Dragon will showcase the DuraLink-powered Dumax-330 roll-to-roll high-speed digital label press, which can run at more than 100m/min with ultra-high resolution and claimed ‘excellent’ color reproduction; Shanghai UPG will display the UPG-1 desktop digital label printer, powered by VersaPass inkjet technology and using DN ink for enhanced water resistance and lightfastness; and Shield Technology Development will showcase the world-first DuraLink technology M460m M680C duplex mono and colour web presses.

Ahead of the event opening next week, Bent Serritslev, senior vice president, business development, Asia-Pacific at Memjet, commented, ‘As the region recovers from the pandemic, printers need solutions that can help them get their business – and their customers – back on track. At All in Print China, our OEM partners will showcase solutions that meet this critical need. Using Memjet technology, these OEMs have created a new breed of printing solutions that deliver the speed, affordability, and beautiful precision print providers need to move forward.’

All in Print China is organised by the Printing Technology Association of China, China Academy of Printing Technology, and Messe Düsseldorf (Shanghai).

To welcome attendees, the event’s organisers have implemented a number of procedures to safeguard the health and wellbeing of staff, exhibitors and attendees. This includes demanding all those entering the exhibition area wear face masks, maintain a safe social distance of one metre, avoid congregating and reduce physical contact. The numbers admitted each day will be limited, with pre-registration required, and enhanced hygiene practices will be implemented. A full rundown can be read here.

All in Print Cloud has been introduced too, running alongside the physical event  as a virtual means for the industry to connect. It is made up of two parts, Virtual Expo and Live Broadcast, ‘creating an online exhibition platform for the printing and packaging industry that integrates innovative display, match-making and trade exchange functions.’

Mr Serritslev continued, ‘The pandemic has upended business for so many of us. It is encouraging to see that the All in Print China event is moving forward and that Memjet’s OEMs partners are playing a role in helping the label and packaging printing to move forward as well.’
