Esko has released version 23.11 of its software, designed specifically to improve the efficiency of packaging production while offering businesses even more opportunity to contribute towards a sustainable future.

Released today (31 October, 2023), the latest version is said to underline the company’s commitment to developing products that help accelerate the go-to-market of perfectly packaged goods, ‘empowering businesses to connect systems and workflows, automate processes, and accelerate innovation.’

Specific features and functions of v23.11 include:

  • Safe plate output in Automation Engine, allowing for faster quality control, and new labels and warnings for classic workflow tasks;
  • Even stronger Automation Engine integration with Share & Approve, the Cloud native service that enables users to connect their pre-press to customers and stakeholders from their artwork editor applications;
  • Greater efficiency with Cape Pack pallet optimisation for folding cartons and easy sharing with Share & Approve;
  • New tools in ArtiosCAD to automatically recognise copy-free areas of designs when folded in 3D, and predefined folders to promote consistency and reduce errors; and
  • Further improvements to pre-press task automation in ArtPro+, making processing ‘faster, simpler and safer’, plus additional new features such as including non-active fonts when recognising text.
