BHS Corrugated and Highcon have entered into a strategic partnership, anticipated to have ‘far-reaching implications’ for the digitalisation of the corrugated packaging market.

This will see BHS Corrugated, a provider of packaging options to the corrugated industry, incorporate Highcon’s digital die-cutting and creasing equipment into its ‘Box Plant 2025’ strategy, as it moves towards greater automation and digitalisation. For Highcon, BHS will deliver customer leads to acquire market potential and access.

Christian Engel, managing director at BHS Corrugated, commented, ‘Highcon’s unique solutions can be a very valuable building block in the digitalisation and enhanced operational efficiency of the corrugated industry. We have been very impressed by Highcon, its leadership and workforce, its technology and solutions and we look forward to working closely to drive a win-win for both our companies and our customers.’

This partnership comes as Highcon restructures and refinances its business with the aim to reach positive cash flow and operational profitability in 2024.
