Guyana’s Lansen Label has enhanced its digital label capabilities with the installation of an ArrowJet Aqua 330R Lite from Arrow Systems.

For over seven years, Lansen Label has been a provider of high-quality labels and packaging for clients across Guyana, South America and the Caribbean region. Having previously used smaller scale digital equipment, Lansen Label made the decision to transition to a more robust and industrial-grade option.

Using water-based pigment inkjet technology, ArrowJet Lite incorporates Memjet Duraflex technology, enabling high-resolution printing at speeds of up to 45m/min. In addition, the ArrowJet Lite offers offline and inline finishing options.

Lansen Label marks the first installation of ArrowJet Aqua 330R in the Caribbean and is running the equipment using solar power. As such the ArrowJet has been specially modified to work with the 220 1P power provided by the solar setup.

The installation of the ArrowJet Lite has allowed Lansen Label to optimise its operations, streamline production and ‘substantially’ increase capacity, as Rowling Khan, the printer’s general manager, explained. ‘So far, the results have been great. Lower running costs, higher production and higher quality labels; Arrow Systems delivered on everything and more.’
