Digital-native label printing company Cor Label has invested in an HP Indigo 8000 digital press alongside a second DC330Mini finishing line from GM.

Florida-based Cor Label was launched in August 2020 by Bryan Dolbow, using an HP Indigo 6X00 press and DC330Mini to manufacture labels with a quick turnaround of five to seven days promised, as well as design consultation and quality assurance, ‘to take your concept and turn it into a reality.’ The company serves a diverse customer base in the US and Europe, operating in vitamins, cosmetics and high-end foods to the fast-growing CBD market.

Whilst the company’s HP Indigo digital presses are at the heart of the company’s manufacturing, Mr Dolbow, president and owner, noted the importance of finishing equipment to its offer.

‘The GM die cutters run have been running 17 hours per day for the past 24 months. The machines are rock solid and operate consistently in both speed and quality. Our vision is to deliver trust, quality, and consistency – and the consistency in our machinery makes us able to deliver what we promise our customers – every single day.’

He continued, ‘When deciding on our label finishing equipment, we learned that this investment goes beyond the equipment. The relation to GM has significantly impacted our business. Right from the start we have had a close and unique collaboration with the GM team in the US, who has supported us in any way possible to make our label finishing a success.

‘Despite the current economic change, we see that the labelling industry keeps growing. We also expect Cor Label to expand its production capacity and aim at adding a DC350Flex from GM to our production. This will support our diversified customer base and product offerings.’
