AM Labels has opened its new technical experience centre at its headquarters in Kettering, Northamptonshire, creating a hub for businesses across the UK to demonstrate printing and labelling technology.

AM Labels has conducted a significant expansion of its business and operations. This included relocating to premises four times the size of its previous facility at the beginning of 2022. In addition to further developing and expanding its portfolio, increasing its operations and boosting production capacity, AM Labels has invested in the construction of a technical experience centre. This features dedicated areas for displaying colour label printers, applicators and finishing machines, along with a comprehensive range of scanning, barcoding and RFID equipment. A piece of equipment of note that is featured is the Afinia x350 digital roll-to-roll label press. In addition, the Epson Scara T6 robot is demonstrated as a means to support businesses in streamlining their production lines.

AM Labels managing director Tony Mariani said, ‘Since relocating to new premises at the beginning of 2022, we have invested heavily in the creation and build of our technical experience centre. Now that the space has officially opened, it will act as a hub for businesses across the UK to experience demonstrations of the latest and most innovative technology available on the market, including colour label printers, applicators, finishing machines, barcode scanning and RFID equipment, along with and robotics and automation.’

The technical experience centre was officially opened across 24-26 January, 2023, and Mr Mariani said, ‘The opening of our new technical experience centre was a great success and on behalf of the entire AM Labels team, I would like to say a big thank you to everyone that joined us throughout the three-day event. We are also extremely grateful for the support received from several of the industry’s leading manufacturers and suppliers, and a special thank you to Epson for being our event sponsor.’
