UK-based Cellcoat has recruited Braden Smith to strengthen its sales and marketing activities.

Cellcoat is a developer and manufacturer of laminating and coating technologies. Its T-Series of thermal laminators are designed to allow narrow and mid web press users to quickly and efficiently convert food-safe flexible package structures.

Mr Smith comes to the company, which is led by Jonathan Smith as managing director, after fulfilling a similar role at Ultrimax Coatings, an industrial paint supplier and manufacturer. As well as his role with Cellcoat, Mr Smith is also working in a sales and marketing role at Enviraflex, a division of Cellcoat and a supplier of eco-friendly, recyclable films said to be sustainable and cost-effective.

Recyclable Enviraflex cups were in use during this year’s Wimbledon tennis championships as part of the event organiser’s sustainability efforts.
