The opening three days of the Printing United Digital Experience online event has recorded 6600 participants from 4700 companies in 97 countries.

Printing United Digital Experience is a three-week online event that has replaced the physical Printing United exhibition that was planned, prior to the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic, for 21-23 October in Atlanta, Georgia.

Running 26 October to 12 November, Printing United Digital Experience includes a series of presentations, panel discussions and product demonstrations related to various verticals and facets of the print industry. Days 1-3 covered the graphics/wide format market, apparel and commercial digital inkjet. These three days attracted 6600 ‘attendees’ from 4700 companies in 97 countries, who delivered more than 30,000 page views and consumed 3000 hours of video content.

The programme for 29 October (day four) focused on labels and flexible packaging, with digital printing heavily represented, while the 30 October programme has circled back to the graphics/wide format market, with a focus on finishing and workflow.

Printing United Digital Experience resumes next week (2 November), with folding carton and corrugated the focus on 4 November.

drupa preview also kicked off this week, with similarly strong figures reported, whilst the Printing Expo virtual print industry exhibition will open on 16 November.
