UK printer Royston Labels has named Glyn Scriven as its new head of sales.

Mr Scriven has extensive sales and marketing experience within paper and packaging manufacturers. His former employees include Avery Dennison, MCC and Rankin Brothers & Sons, where his work has focused on providing labels and closures to the UK drinks market, where he has built a strong reputation for delivery and service.

In his new role, Mr Scriven will be responsible for the strategic leadership of the Royston Labels sales team, which manage beer, wine and spirits producers in the UK and their labeling production. He will contribute to the overall growth strategy in this market; helping Royston to welcome new clients and maintain relationships with its existing drinks base.

Royston Labels managing director Paul Clayton said, ‘Glyn brings a wealth of knowledge on the drinks industry, which is already proving invaluable to the Royston team. Although the drinks market is currently facing extreme challenges due to COVID-19, helping our clients deliver quality packaging to represent their brand story is still a shared priority.’

Mr Scriven added, ‘Royston is a forward-thinking, privately owned business where we can make decisions quickly to support our customers. Our new purpose-built production site in Hertfordshire includes both digital and conventional print technologies, so that drinks brands can come to us for all their label requirements.’
