Tarsus Group, the organiser of the Labelexpo Global Series and Brand Print Global Series of trade shows, has today confirmed date changes to several of its events, including Labelexpo Americas 2020.

Labelexpo Americas 2020 was due to take place alongside the inaugural Brand Print Americas event, from 15-17 September, 2020 in Rosemont, Illinois. The events will now be held 23-25 March, 2021 at the Donald E. Stephens Exhibition Center.

A virtual conference will take place across the original show dates.

Also postponed until later dates are the 2020 Labelexpo India, Labelexpo Mexico and Labelexpo Southeast Asia events, and their corresponding Brand Print Global Series shows. Whilst those in India have been pushed back from November to December 2020, the Southeast Asia event will now run in May 2022 and Labelexpo/Brand Print Mexico will take place at an unconfirmed date in early 2022. Labelexpo Southeast Asia had already been postponed for May to September 2020.

Labelexpo Global Series managing director Lisa Milburn commented, ‘Given the impact of coronavirus/COVID-19, we have taken the difficult decision to postpone several of our printing shows around the world over the next 18 months until the threat of the virus reduces.

‘These are exceptional circumstances, and the decision has been the result of an in-depth strategic review of our whole portfolio, while simultaneously monitoring developments around the word over the last few months. The health and safety of exhibitors, visitors and staff has been our key driver throughout this process, and we have acted on the advice of all local partners, venues, health authorities concerned, and listened to exhibitor feedback.’

Labelexpo South China and Brand Print South China will go ahead as currently planned in 2020, between 8-10 December.

Ms Milburn added, ‘We will be working closely with our event venues and colleagues in China to ensure that all the required health and safety measures are in place for successful shows this year.’
