The Netherlands-based Geostick Group has placed an order for five AB Graphic Digicon Series 3 finishing machines.

Geostick Group is a third generation, family-owned business that has grown significantly over the years. Besides conventional label printing, the group also offers digital printing, the supply of label printers, maintenance, software and additional services.

Since purchasing its first finishing machine back in 1999, Geostick’s long-standing relationship with AB Graphic has resulted in a line-up of over 40 existing machines. The five new Digicon machines will allow Geostick to increase productivity and keep pace with customer demand by delivering high quality output. All machines will provide high levels of automation, including connections to Cerm, which will make set up and changeovers easier, resulting in reduced operator error.

Cees Schouten, Geostick Group operations director, commented, ‘We are excited about the continued growth of the Geostick Group and our planned expansion into new purpose-built digital printing facilities in Uithoorn later this year.

‘We chose AB Graphic because of its belief in automation and quality. The new Digicons will allow us to continue to grow whilst creating the high-quality products our customers expect. AB Graphic has been our chosen finishing equipment partner for over two decades.@

Matt Burton, AB Graphic global sales director, added, ‘We are thrilled that Geostick Group sees AB Graphic as its natural partner for finishing equipment; we share similar values and look forward to seeing the result of these new purchases going forward.’
