EyeC-America, the US partner of print inspection systems provider EyeC GmbH, has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its quality management system.
The certification covers EyeC-America’s approach to quality, efficiency and the ongoing improvement of its business processes. According to the company, the certification process also provided an opportunity to review and refine internal workflows as it prepares for future growth.
EyeC GmbH’s German headquarters has held certification to the ISO 9001 standard since 2011.
“From the start, our goal was never just the certificate itself, but rather about building a reliable framework to support our future growth,” said Jürgen Klicker, president of EyeC-America. “What is now documented in our quality management system reflects how we actually work. That’s what makes this certification so valuable to us: it doesn’t just confirm a standard we meet; it has helped make EyeC-America a stronger, more effective company.”
EyeC said the certification provides a common foundation for quality management across its operations and supports the company’s continued international expansion.
Founded in 2002, EyeC develops artwork and print inspection systems covering stages of the manufacturing process from artwork files through to finished printed products. Its systems are used to inspect applications including labels, folding cartons, package inserts and flexible packaging.
The company says more than 3000 EyeC inspection systems are currently in use worldwide by pharmaceutical companies, printers and manufacturers of branded goods.
EyeC-America forms part of EyeC GmbH’s international sales network, which comprises more than 100 sales partners serving customers in over 100 countries.
