Domino is set to launch the N410 digital LED inkjet label press, expanding its N-Series range of label printing equipment. The company is introducing the new press at Labelexpo Europe 2025, which takes place in Barcelona, Spain, from 16–19 September.

The N410 is designed as a lower-cost, compact digital press aimed at helping label converters enter or expand their digital production capabilities. According to Domino, the N410’s smaller footprint and integrated control cabinets make it quicker to install and operate, with print speeds of up to 50 metres per minute and consistent 600dpi resolution using CMYK+White inks.

Michael Matthews, product manager at Domino, explained that while digital printing is well-established in the label sector, high upfront investment can still deter smaller converters. “Some converters are cautious about investing in low-cost presses from lesser-known suppliers due to concerns over support and long-term service,” he said. “The N410 addresses that gap by offering an accessible entry point into digital printing, backed by Domino’s support infrastructure.”

The N410 also uses UV LED curing technology, which is more energy-efficient than traditional UV systems. This contributes to lower power consumption and supports sustainability goals.

The press runs on Domino’s updated Sunrise Digital Front End (DFE) workflow software, which is also being showcased at the event. Sunrise includes features such as fast job ripping, a cost calculator for estimating print jobs, and centralised substrate management via the Domino Media Manager.

Daily demonstrations of the N410 will take place at Domino’s stand (booth 3E91) throughout the exhibition.
