Scott Brown has been named as eProductivity Software (ePS) Packaging’s new chief information officer (CIO). Mr Brown brings over 35 years of experience in SaaS and enterprise IT and will lead the company’s efforts to expand its cloud capabilities and improve technology infrastructure.

In his new role, Mr Brown will oversee corporate IT, cloud services, and security operations. His focus will include strengthening platform security and compliance, broadening cloud deployment options for customers, and advancing the company’s industry-specific software offerings. A key part of his responsibilities will be driving ePS’s compliance strategy, including efforts toward SOC (System and Organisation Controls) certification.

“Scott brings valuable experience in managing cloud transformation and IT operations at scale,” said Doug Braun, CEO of ePS Packaging. “His background aligns well with our priorities as we continue to develop cloud-based solutions tailored to the packaging sector.”

Before joining ePS, Mr Brown was CIO at Sciforma, a provider of strategic portfolio and project management software. He also held senior roles at BluJay Solutions, IBS AB, and RedPrairie, with responsibilities ranging from global infrastructure management to support services and compliance certifications.

Mr Brown’s appointment comes as ePS continues to build out its software portfolio for packaging manufacturers. His focus will be on ensuring that the company’s ERP, MES, and process control platforms meet modern standards for security, scalability, and usability.

“ePS stands out because of its focus on the packaging industry,” said Mr Brown. “My role is to help ensure that our cloud solutions not only meet technical requirements but also deliver measurable operational value to customers.”

The company said Mr Brown’s appointment signals its intent to invest further in secure, scalable cloud technology tailored specifically for the packaging sector.
