Label manufacturer Amberley Labels has further enhanced its digital print offering with a £500,000 in a new multi-embellishment solution. The A B Graphic International (ABG) Digicon Series 3 flagship conversion technology will reinforce Amberly’s commitment to delivering print and embellishment capabilities to its premium brand customers.

The Digicon Series 3 joins Amberley’s digital print suite, which includes HP Indigo digital presses and the Kurz DM-Jetliner with Digital Metal ink transfer technology. The company said these technologies collectively position itself at the forefront of digital label production, offering design flexibility and sustainable, high-quality finishes.

Designed to meet rising demand for luxury, multi-embellishment labels, the Digicon Series 3 delivers a fully integrated, single-pass finishing solution. It includes cold foil, hot foil, a “Big Foot” 50-ton embossing module, and silk screen embellishments, enabling 3D tactile finishes, including braille.

The line also supports specialty ink applications such as scratch-off, glow-in-the-dark, iridescent, and photochromic effects. Enhanced durability, UV and chemical resistance, and high-gloss results on absorbent materials further expand design potential – particularly for premium wine labels, added Amberley.

Sustainability is central to the investment, with Amberley’s “No Waste” model benefiting from increased speed, efficiency, and rotating head foil technology to reduce material waste and enable print-on-demand production.

David Richards, managing director of Amberley Labels, said: “Our latest investment means we now offer every digital conversion capability available in the market. It gives our customers the quality, variety, and sustainable flexibility to enhance their brands both on and off the shelf.”
