Germany-based international OEM and solution provider DTM Print has added the new LX4000e Color Label Printer to its LX-Series.
Manufactured by Primera Technology, the new desktop printer is equipped with a print engine used in previous LX-Series models including the LX910e and LX3000e Color Label Printer. The LX4000e features individual ink tanks – with each CMY tank holding 60ml of ink, and the pre-primed, reusable printheads containing another 42ml – and a reusable thermal inkjet printhead. It prints at a native 1200dpi resolution with a maximum print resolution of 1200dpi x 4800dpi. It can pint at speeds of up to 114mm/sec and onto labels up to 210mm wide and 610mm long.
The printer also has a Big Ink system, which uses dye and pigment inks optimised for brightness, durability and optical density; and Primera’s ClearView ink tank system, which allows users to monitor ink levels without ever needing to open the printer’s cover. The LX4000e is also compatible with Windows 10/11+ and the latest macOS operating systems.
Engineered for high-volume printing of up to 7500 labels per day, this printer also delivers cost efficiencies for users with lower printing demands, said DTM. Its powder-coated steel cover and all-steel frame ensure reliable protection in diverse settings such as offices, warehouses and factories, the company added.
‘We’re happy to unveil the LX4000e, a powerful desktop colour label printer,’ said Lea König, product manager for labelling solutions at DTM Print. ‘For businesses requiring large quantities of labels without sacrificing print quality and at a minimal cost per label, the LX4000e stands out as an excellent option.’
