Founded in 1970, Cartes, a global label machine manufacturing company, has won Silver and Gold awards at the annual FSEA Gold Leaf Awards 2024, which celebrates the quality, added value, shelf presence, security and brand recognition that the finishing and embellishment processes lend to the printed products, for the second successive year.

This year’s 31 annual FSEA Gold Leaf Awards took place at the Print Embellishment Conference in Dallas between April 9-11. Cartes walked away with Silver and Gold prizes for the category, Best Use of Foil/Embossing Label (Self Promotion).

The company’s customers were also winners of awards, with a Sliver prize going to Sovemec and a Bronze and Silver prize going to Paragon Label, all made by Cartes machinery.

This is the second year that Cartes has won at the FSEA Gold Leaf Awards. At the 30 annual in June 2023 at the Print Embellishment Conference in Indianapolis, Indiana, Gold, Silver and Bronze award winners had been selected in 47 categories. Cartes took home three Best of Category Gold Awards and one Silver Award.

The company won Gold in the Best Use of Digital Foil and Embossing Label (Digitally Printed) category with the ‘10 Vendemmie’ label printed on its GT360 by Italy-based Sovemec. The GT360 also helped the company pick up another award, picking up silver for its ‘Araña’ label in the same category.

The company also won Gold in the Client Promotion Brochure category ‘Cartes 1970-2020’ label printed by the GT360. The third gold award was picked up in the Best Use of Laser Cutting (Decorative) category. Paragon Label won with its ‘Koval’ label produced with Cartes’ Gemini dual laser cutting machine.
