Kama and Grafopel – Equipamentos Gráficos have entered into a distribution partnership for the German manufacturer’s equipment in Portugal, Angola and Cape Verde.

Portuguese company Grafopel has been in business for more than 60 years, offering a full range of systems and technologies to print industry. This has now been augmented with Kama’s portfolio of die-cutting and embellishment machines and folder gluers. As well as Portugal, Grafopel is to handle Angola and Cape Verde, where Portuguese is the official language, on Kama’s behalf.

Kama CBO Jordi Giralt (pictured, centre) said, ‘Partnering with Grafopel in the territories where they distribute our products puts us in a very good position to develop and to grow our installed base.’

Grafopel executive president and CEO Paulo Monteiro (pictured, right), ‘Bringing back Kama to our portfolio complements very well our existing offering and for sure will help us to further develop our market.’

Kama has also entered into an official agreement with Grafix Digital for the promotion and sales of the German company’s finishing equipment in Colombia and Ecuador.
