Art Advertising continues to diversify by adding its first digital narrow web press, the Domino N610i seven-colour UV inkjet digital label press.

The company located in Jonesboro, Arkansas, US was founded in 1969, and focuses solely on industrial labels and other screen-printed products. Stacy and Gary Gestring joined the business in 1995 and began to accelerate growth throughout the years leading to the introduction of the N610i as of December 2023.

As expansion at the company is imperative, president Stacy Gestring believes the Domino N610i’s ‘increased speed’ and ‘variable data capabilities’ will increase the company’s efficiency. She said, ‘Domino was on our short list for its ink durability, high-resolution print, and wide colour gamut. The great communication and responsiveness of the Domino team gave us the confidence to make the final purchase decision.’

The new-found possibility of exploring new markets has ignited new excitement as the ‘greater efficiency’ of the Domino N610i will increase the ‘competitiveness’ for the company. Ms Gestring continued, ‘We expect that the Domino will greatly reduce our production time on certain label lines, increasing productivity and improving profit margins. Now, we anticipate the Domino N610i will bring our roll label department a huge leap forward and open up markets we’ve previously not had access to. When considering the cost justification of the Domino, we looked at both, the improved efficiency we will gain from the orders we have been running through other processes, and the potential to grow into new markets. So, we are very excited with the installation of the Domino digital press.’

After a successful comprehensive training programme for Art Advertising in December 2023, Mr and Mrs Gestring are confident in their team’s ability to operate the N610i with the continued support of Domino. She said, ‘We have been very pleased with Domino.  The detailed scheduling of the install and training were impressive. While we’ve continually added new printing technologies and production types, we are more excited about the potential the Domino N610i has to propel our company to the next level, than any equipment purchase we’ve ever made.’
