LSinc has made a series of developments to enhance the capabilities of its digital printers for direct-to-object applications.

The company’s PeriQ360 and PeriOne are direct-to-object digital printers actively printing on clear media.

New developments to advance their application range include; reverse/multi-layer printing, which allows for artists to design a double-sided image that avoids a solid white interior showing on clear media; diameter independent resolution, which allows for colour and saturation consistency across different pieces of media that have varying diameters; and nozzle replacement technology, which uses software to overcome blocked printhead nozzles until the opportunity presents itself to thoroughly clean the printhead.

Of the third of those developments, James Bullington, chief technology officer at LSinc, commented, ‘I am particularly proud of the nozzle replacement feature that will save companies downtime that previously required cleaning or replacing printheads.’

These three new developments are to be on show during Printing United 2023.
