Durst Group is expanding its partnership with Omet, which will see hybrid options entering the digital press manufacturer’s portfolio whilst the two suppliers will continue to develop and manufacture hybrid printing systems.

Specifically, XJet is now offered through Durst’s global sales and service network. The current XJet platform will be further improved and expanded. A joint product roadmap will then speed up developments and create ‘unique solutions’ tuned for the next generation of highly integrated printing presses.

Thomas Macina, sales director for labels and packaging at Durst, said, ‘We are excited to offer now the full range of integrated conventional and digital printing solutions to all labels and packaging converters around the world.’

Omet sales director Marco Calcagni said, ‘[We are] proud to strengthen the partnership with Durst. We are combining the best technologies to offer excellent solutions and added value to customers
