Durst has named Chuck Slingerland as its new corrugated sales manager in North America.

Mr Slingerland brings over two decades of experience in the packaging industry. Starting on the flexography side at CSW Graphics, he gained experience by managing pre-press requirements for Fortune 500 brands. Shortly after this, he moved into sales and quickly moved from account manager to vice president of sales for digital operations at Abbott-Action, There, he implemented the introduction of single-pass printing for corrugated, so becoming an early adopter of this technology. With this knowledge in mind, he made the transition to representing Barberan as vice president.

In his new position, Mr Slingerland will focus on and grow the presence of Durst and its joint venture with Koenig & Bauer in the corrugated industry in North America.

He said, ‘My corrugated and packaging experience joins a team of knowledgeable and skilled experts ranging across all digital printing segments. Durst is known for having the highest quality and reliability in the market.’
