Entries are now being accepted for the Digital Labels & Packaging Awards 2023.
The Digital Labels & Packaging Awards are open to all those companies manufacturing labels and packaging using digital printing and finishing technologies, be that labels,
shrink sleeves, stand-up pouches, folding cartons, corrugated boxes, digitally printed glass bottles and plastic vessels, or even foodstuffs that are able to be decorated using 21st Century technologies.
Having been introduced in 2022, the awards programme dedicated to excellence in digital label and package printing proved to be a smash hit with the 10 categories hotly contested. For 2023, an additional two categories have been introduced to make sure the awards programme represents even more of the digital print for packaging value chain.
‘The launch of these awards proved to be a runaway success and I expect the 2023 competition to be no less competitive,’ commented David Pittman, Digital Labels & Packaging editor. ‘The judges took great pride in analysing and assessing each of the entries last year, and look forward to doing so yet again, as the packaging industry puts forward its best work for consideration.’
As well as the 12 category prizes, a Supreme Award is bestowed upon the entry the judges deem to showcase what digital print for packaging is doing and what can be achieved. In 2022, Australia-based QLM Group claimed the Supreme Award via its Vietnamese subsidiary, Hoang Ha Label Co, and Lindsay Nutley, the printer’s director of marketing, said, ‘To our supply chain, print teams, design and marketing team and especially our clients, we thank you for your patience, bravery and creativity that inspired us to push for more from digital print. We were privileged to be among many other incredible entries and print companies and we encourage you to continue to work on creative and industry leading solutions.’
The deadline for entries is 21 April, 2023. The awards ceremony is to take place 29 June, 2022 at The Kia Oval in London, UK.
