FLEXcon has developed NEXgen, a new line of durable labelling materials that offer cross-platform printability to reduce complexity for printers, and makes product selection and UL and CSA adoptions easier.

FLEXcon is a specialist in adhesive coating and laminating. The NEXgen product portfolio has been engineered to simplify the selection process for printers and OEMs based on performance requirements and desired aesthetics, whilst simultaneously boosting cross-platform printability.

FLEXcon NEXgen is comprised of the company’s highest performing product components, including polyester, polypropylene and vinyl films, with a choice of gloss or matte topcoat and one of three robust adhesives on a roll- or sheet-form liner. The adhesives, L-344, L-606 and L-778, ensure optimum adhesion to almost any surface found in the consumer durables, transportation and industrial market segments, whether or not UL-recognition is required. All products are UL/cUL-recognised, CSA pending, and are available for immediate adoption through FLEXcon’s UL and CSA adoption programmes, which feature reimbursement of the base adoption fee upon meeting a minimum purchase requirement.

Ross Hodnett, product manager at FLEXcon, commented, ‘Printers can print and convert with ease while offering clients exceptional results, and with cross-platform printability, they can maximise conventional, digital and hybrid systems to achieve greater efficiency and cost savings.’
