Fujifilm North America and Zund America have entered into a collaborative agreement that will give print service provider customers access to a broader portfolio of technologies.

Under the deal, Fujifilm North America will market and sell all of the digital cutting systems available from Zund America to print service providers in the US and Canada. This will apply to multiple print markets, including sign and display, and packaging, with the cutting systems available from Zund America complementing the portfolio of Fujifilm printers, from Acuity LED 1600 models to the modular OnsetX Series of printers, and beyond.

Todd Zimmerman, division president, Fujifilm North America, Graphic Systems, commented, ‘As we move into the future of printing, and as integration and automation become increasingly important, it was critical for us to continue to evolve as it relates to finishing. With our combined efforts, Fujifilm and Zund America’s digital cutting systems will offer specialised resources designed for professionals that need to deliver high quality and diverse products under tight turnarounds in an evolving market.’

Zund UK has previously entered into an innovation-based partnership with Inca Digital, which sees both companies working together to offer customers in the signage, graphics and packaging industries fully automated print, cut and robotic offload workflow systems.
