This year’s TheIJC conference has been cancelled, with the event now set to return in November 2021.

TheIJC is a two-day multi-subject educational conference that brings together OEMs, suppliers, researchers, innovators and all involved in inkjet technology for industrial applications, from textiles and décor, to labels and packaging.

This year’s event was due to take place on 27-28 October in Düsseldorf, Germany.

TheIJC is one of only a handful of events to have outright cancelled this year’s instalment, with many postponing and rescheduling for early 2021. Given the event’s original date in Q4 2020, it is unsurprising that the decision has been taken to cancel TheIJC 2020 and reset for the next event in November next year.

In a statement, ESMA, which organises TheIJC, noted, ‘TheIJC will no longer take place in Düsseldorf in October 2020, due to the continued public health risks and business disruption caused by the COVID-19 pandemic. We look forward to welcoming the inkjet industry to TheIJC in November 2021.’
