Landa Digital Printing is expecting ‘robust’ demand for its digital printing technology in 2020, with additional installations anticipated.

The company’s Nanographic Printing presses first debuted at drupa in 2012, with the 2016 edition of the show seeing the hardware refined and further developed. Additional time has since been required to get the first presses out to the market, but according to Asher Levy, active chairman at Landa Digital Printing, the company has now ‘received very positive reinforcement’.

Mr Levy said, ‘In 2019, Landa Digital Printing installed its first Nanographic Printing presses at customer sites around the world and received very positive reinforcement that our products are about to change the printing industry.

‘In 2020, despite the global coronavirus pandemic, we expect to see additional installations worldwide, as demand for our products continues to be robust.’

His comments come as Arik Gordon joins as the new CEO at Landa Digital Printing.

‘We firmly believe that Arik is the right person to lead the company to global success,’ said Mr Levy.

2020 was expected to see the next-generation of Nanographic Printing presses pushed out, including the long-awaited 1m-wide W10 for flexible packaging applications.
