Michael Wombacher has become the sole managing director of Polar Group, including the management of Polar-Mohr and Dienst Packsystems.
The Polar Group specialises in the design of future-oriented solutions in the fields of post-press and packaging technology. Polar Mohr manufactures high-speed cutters and associated peripheral equipment for the graphics industry. Dienst Packsystems specialises in packaging machines for global producers of food and non-food items. Its product range also includes top-load and end-of-line machines.
Mr Wombacher’s last position was in a leading role at a technology company specialising in robotic options. Before that, he held strategically important positions at companies in Germany and abroad in the technology and automotive sectors.
He commented, ‘I would like to further develop the Polar Group together with our employees. Our customers can look forward to many more innovative post-press solutions.’
