Digital printing technology is to once again play a major role on the show floor at Label&Print, including the latest innovation from suppliers and converters.

Co-located alongside Packaging Innovations, this year’s Label&Print will once again play host to a number of digital printing technology launches and demonstrations, such as suppliers Duplo with its new Packaging Solutions range and Dantex and its updated Pico UV inkjet range, as well printers and converters directly looking to highlight their capabilities using their latest investments in digital printing and converting technology. CCL Label is to unveil the capabilities of its new Any Stage Differentiation software, while Skanem will showcase smart labels, designed to increase interaction and engagement between brands and their customers. The Label Makers will display its latest innovations in print and finishing alongside its recent design for Diablesse Rum, which features overlays of embossed matt gold foiling.

Victoria Blake, event director for Easyfairs’ UK packaging portfolio, commented, ‘We are proud to have established Label&Print as the premiere event for digital printing in the UK. As well as a show floor full of exciting, industry-leading suppliers exhibiting their latest innovations, we have a whole host of interactive features for visitors to experience, and a robust seminar programme designed to offer takeaway insights.’

This includes new feature content added to this year’s event schedule, with the Visit the Future Hub and Innovation Showcase designed to address the challenges faced by industry professionals at every point of packaging’s journey, from conception to consumer.

Ms Blake added, ‘It’s an exciting time to be part of the packaging community and we are proud to be championing innovation within our industry.’
