Xeikon has opened a state- of-the-art innovation centre in Shanghai, designed to support expanding markets for digital printing in China.

The facility is equipped to house Xeikon printing equipment and associated technologies, such as the Xeikon 3500, a digital label press capable of producing digitally printed folding cartons, and Xeikon’s X-800 digital front end. Xeikon staff are on hand to offer expertise, guidance and to demonstrate creative options and applications for a significant variety of markets and sectors.

The facility allows visitors and customers to test a variety of applications and options for new revenue streams and business growth.

Klaus Nielsen, general manager at Xeikon Asia, said, ‘We are seeing unprecedented global growth in the desire for digital printing solutions for labels and packaging.
