CHILI publish has named Fabian Prudhomme as its new global vice president, sales and alliances.

Mr Prudhomme joins the software specialist from Kodak, where he served as director of strategic business development and direct sales, packaging (SW). Prior to Kodak, he worked at Colruyt Group, Enfocus and Esko.

Mr Prudhomme said, ‘CHILI publish has shown relentless commitment to brand protection in omnichannel marketing communication over the years. The company’s driven mindset resulted in two successful investment rounds, impressive customer success growth and a growing, self-sufficient employee pool. I look forward to contributing and pushing the boundaries of what’s next.’

He will be in attendance at Labelexpo Europe 2019, where CHILI publish will be highlighting its software products for smart artwork and marketing material creation. This includes CHILI publisher and its suite of smart templates designed to streamline graphic variations.

Kevin Goeminne, CEO at CHILI publish, said, ‘When business is growing, the team needs to be up to par. And vice versa. Ownership, team spirit and flexibility are the pillars we base every business decision and employee hire on. I’m confident Fabian will be the pillar our sales team needs to take their successful growth path to the next level.’

‘One of our central goals is to inform and empower companies and brands when it comes to embracing the potential of hyper-personalisation and templatisation,’ said Mr Prudhomme. ‘That calls for an infallible smart template software solution like CHILI publisher.’

CHILI publisher features with an Adobe Illustrator plug-in that reduces the size of output PDFs for Illustrator-created content. This allows for scaling, a fast RIP throughput and direct printing process, according to the company.

The software’s smart templates also allow effective production of mobile-ready hero images, a requirement for brands targeting eRetail growth. CHILI publish notes how the visual representation of product packaging on smaller screens brings about a set of specific challenges for brand owners and retailers, such as complying with the GS1 Mobile Ready Hero Images Guideline, which standardizes the way in which brands present products for e-commerce on mobile platforms.

Mr Prudhomme explained, ‘The packaging departments at brands face more than one challenge when designing marketing material for eRetail. At Labelexpo Europe 2019, we’ll be hosting demos to show how smart templates can automate most of the design work to generate many different versions, respecting both the GS1 guidelines and brand identity. Visitors can experience just how much time and money they can save by eliminating needless errors, simply by using smart templates and our bespoke Illustrator plug-in. The demos even come with a personalised beer to illustrate the effectiveness of the CHILI publisher smart templates. Visitors can create their personal label online and pick up their labelled beer bottle at our stand.’
