FINAT YPN, the association’s group for young professionals in the labels and package printing industry, is actively seeking new members following its relaunch.

Formerly known as the Young Managers Club (YMC), the Young Professionals Network (YPN) is seeking industry professionals who are looking to embrace change, openness and learning experiences whilst building their network.

YPN is working together with FINAT in an effort to secure the future of the label industry. At Labelexpo Europe 2019, YPN will host two panel discussions on the FINAT stand, addressing ‘Securing the future of our industry’ and ‘Women in the label industry’.

In the future, brainstorming sessions at FINAT events will lead to a trends report to help shape business strategies. In September 2020, YPN is planning to organize a bootcamp, full of interactive learning sessions relevant to the label industry and personal development.

Matthias Vollherbst, CEO at VollherbstDruck and YPN committee member, said, ‘FINAT people can help us by sending us their young people who are keen on working on trends and on making a difference. And it is also crucial for us to be at the FINAT event because we have to close that gap.’

Chris Spooner, business development manager at Label Traxx and a member of the group for a number of years, added, ‘YPN is a perfect way to secure the future of our industry and learn new practices; it is a great way of finding out what is happening in real life.’

YPN membership can be applied for here. All FINAT company members can appoint their young professionals under the age of 40 to YPN, free of charge.
