Graymills has introduced the HP Indigo Edition Parts Washer, which cleans the parts of digital presses, including ink pumps, ink tanks, ink mixers, press cleaning station and ink developers. It is constructed of 16 gauge powder-coated steel and operates with HP’s imaging oil.

Designed by Graymills with input from HP Indigo experts, key features include adjustable bi-level work shelves and an extra-long flexible metal flush hose for directed hands-free flushing action. This enables the press operator to lay down the part to be cleaned inside the parts washer, aim the hose and return after a few minutes. Additionally, the abrasive-resistant pump has no bearings and its seals are immersed in fluid, which extends the life of the pump.

‘The Graymills HP Indigo Edition Parts Washer solves a problem on the production floor by improving press uptime and preventative maintenance,’ said director of sales and marketing Rob Cotner. ‘Digital press adoption continues at double-digit growth rates across the North American market place and Graymills is dedicated to precision-engineered solutions that keep pace with the demands of today’s printers and converters. HP Indigo is one of the long-standing leaders in digital print technology development and Graymills is committed to supporting the company’s extensive installation base with this high quality parts washer.’
