Graeme Leslie, new business development manager
Print and packaging company Elanders is continuing its strong period of growth by appointing a new business development manager to work from its new site.
Graeme Leslie, from Inverclyde, will be joining the business at its Scottish division, Elanders Packaging. The new 17,500 square premises in Bellshill, which is three times bigger than the company’s previous site boasts new digital print and luxury finishing equipment for packaging and labelling.
With over a decade of experience in the Scottish whisky and drinks industry, Mr Leslie is bringing a broad range of skills and experience to the company. He has an in-depth understanding of customer quality expectations thanks to his time working in the contract packaging sector where he gained experience in gifting, promotional packaging and fulfilment.
More recently, Mr Leslie has worked in luxury and premium bespoke packaging, helping customers develop creative and innovative packaging products for gifting, promotions and campaigns.
He said, ‘It’s an exciting time to be joining Elanders. The company is a leader of innovation in the print and packaging industry and is constantly looking for new ways to deliver a premium service to clients. I am looking forward to contributing to and developing tailored print and packaging solutions to clients in the drinks industry, which I know inside out.’
Chris Hewitt, managing director of Elanders UK, said, ‘We always aim to be one step ahead in our sector and we are taking it to the next level with new equipment and expertise. Our new site in Bellshill means we can expand our offering and purchase new cutting edge machinery to sit alongside our existing kit, offering our customers more choice. Graeme’s in-depth knowledge of the whisky and drinks industry will be extremely valuable to the already experienced team and clients alike.’
