Production controller Gareth Spencer
Digital packaging company CS Labels has created a new full time position to cope with increased demand.
Gareth Spencer has been appointed as production controller for the company. Mr Spencer has over 10 years’ experience in flexible packaging and has held several positions in process improvement, quality management, continuous improvement and technical development. In addition to assisting in efficiency improvement, waste reduction and identifying training needs, he will also support production director Adam James.
Mr Spencer said, ‘I’m delighted to join CS Labels. I will be applying my 10 years’ experience in flexible packaging to the current digital stand-up pouch offering that CS Labels has just officially launched this year, which is exciting. Digital print is very dynamic and CS is already making an impact in the flexible packaging world which of course is traditionally known as flexographic or gravure.’
Managing director Simon Smith said, ‘In order for us to remain at the top of our game, we have to keep innovating and pushing the boundaries; and that means change, regular improvements, and constant monitoring. We don’t stand still. I’m pleased we have Gareth on board as we enter yet another exciting phase in the CS Labels journey.’
