The Truepress Jet L250AQ aqueous inkjet printer will be sold in Japan, the US, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand

Ahead of Labelexpo Americas, Screen GP has announced the introduction of the Truepress Jet L250AQ aqueous inkjet label printing system, which is aimed at providing companies with significant reductions in initial costs.

The new press promises to deliver lower initial costs than the existing Screen GP systems. The main unit is designed to be extremely compact and can be installed in conjunction with the existing production lines. This makes it ideal for companies wishing to expand their use of digital printing, said Screen.

The Truepress Jet L250AQ uses water-based inks and provides a maximum resolution of 1600 x 1600 dpi in high quality mode, with a minimum droplet size of 1 to 2 picolitres. The system delivers a top printing speed of 18 m/min and has an intuitive, user-friendly touch screen.

Screen GP will exhibit the press at the Korea International Printing Machinery and Equipment Show (KIPES), held from 31 August to 3 September and at Labelexpo Americas from September 13 to 15 in Chicago. After the two shows, it will begin sales in Japan, the US, South Korea, Australia and New Zealand.
