The Cast and Cure range has been extended to tactile patterns

Offering a tactile look and feel to packaging, new textured finishes have been introduced by Breit Technologies. These add to the company’s established Cast and Cure (C2) technology and proprietary casting films.

The new textured patterns include linen and brushed stroke, which can be applied as high-resolution spot or flood varnishes. A wide variety of Cast and Cure decorative finishes can be applied to film, paper and other substrates using the patterned films. The patterns are impressed into the varnished surface and then cured using UV, LED or EB technology.

The films can be reused multiple times, providing excellent cost economies on volume runs. All together the whole range consists of over 30 films patterns are available for matte, ultra-high gloss, textured and holographic finishes. C2 can be applied using existing cold foil stations or with Breit Technologies’ custom machine lines available for narrow web, wide web and sheet-fed applications.
