The team at Digital Labels & Packaging has welcomed new printer members Xpress Labels and Anglia Labels to its industry group.

Set up in 2013, the group encompasses a core of leading label and packaging printers in the UK. The membership package includes listings in every issue of the magazine and reports on news and announcements, along with a special invitation to the annual conference where members can exhibit their best work to an audience of brands, retailers and designers.

Xpress Labels is an innovative self-adhesive label manufacturing company located in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. Incorporated in 2000, the company invested in a PicoColour UV inkjet press from Dantex Group in 2016 to complement its flexographic capabilities and supply customers with quality products with short lead times.

An early adopter of digital print technology with the UK’s first ever Indigo Omnius press in 1996, Anglia Labels has recently installed a Domino N610i UV inkjet press at its home in Sudbury. The company was established in 1979 and offers digital and flexo print to the food and drink, industrial, agrochemical, chemical, automotive, security, household and medical industries.

You can read more about Anglia Labels in the next issue of the magazine, where managing director Ian Woodhead shares his digital experience and the reasons why the company decided to invest in inkjet in an interview with Des King.

Publisher Marie Rushton said, ‘We are delighted that both Xpress Labels and Anglia Labels have decided to join our group of innovative printers. Along with the clear benefits offered by the membership, we are very keen to offer a space for networking and the exchange of ideas to help drive the process forward.’
