Corona treatment supplier Vetaphone has launched a new Maintenance Contract Service, designed to keep its customers’ ozone systems operating at optimum efficiency while supporting user safety and sustainability goals.
Under its scheme, Vetaphone will deliver replacement ozone filters to customer sites. As all its corona systems are fitted with ozone eliminators, the scheme will ensure systems are serviced regularly rather than when the customers remember – a common cause of breakdowns. The initiative, branded ‘Ozone Filters: Direct to Your Door’, will offer scheduled filter deliveries, maintenance support, and straightforward user guides, all managed by Vetaphone.
This approach reduces the risk of production stoppages, extends equipment lifespan, and maintains consistent surface treatment quality, meaning customers can benefit from lower service and parts costs, according to Vetaphone.
Ozone is an unavoidable by-product during industrial processes such as corona treatment. As air pollution continues to be a global concern, with growing awareness of its impact on both environmental and workplace health, the introduction of Directive EU 2024/2881 in October 2024 has set tighter limits on ambient air pollutants, including ozone, bringing EU regulations closer to World Health Organisation (WHO) standards. This has highlighted the need for more proactive ozone management across industries.
Available on 1-, 3-, or 5-year agreements, the contracts provide flexibility to match different operational needs. In addition to improved reliability and efficiency, the Vetaphone programme also contributes to cleaner air and a safer working environment, the company claimed.
