Label manufacturer All4Labels’ “2024 Global Sustainability Report” has outlined developments across the company’s Product, Planet, and People strategy, which it calls the 3Ps, highlighting measurable progress and continued investment in innovation.

All4Labels has set a target to launch 35 new innovative label solutions by 2030, as part of its drive to combine product performance with environmental responsibility. The report also highlights over €5 million (£4.39 million) invested in innovation initiatives during 2024, aimed at developing scalable, sustainable packaging solutions. All4Labels said it intends to double the market impact of its patented technologies in the coming years.

According to Gabriela Neves Ferri, global vice president of sustainability, innovation remains central to the group’s long-term transformation. “By combining technical expertise with responsible material choices, we aim to create products that perform well and deliver environmental benefits,” she said.

The company reported a number of developments over the past year. On the product side, it launched StarDirect, the rebranded Signite technology from Actega, which is a no-label look decoration that removes the need for traditional printing substrates, reducing plastic use and waste. Responsible sourcing efforts were also strengthened, with a 56% increase in supplier self-assessments compared with 2023.

From an environmental perspective, All4Labels received one Platinum and four Gold EcoVadis medals, as well as its first global recognition from CDP, a global non-profit organisation that runs an environmental disclosure system, achieving a B rating for Climate and B- ratings for Water and Forests.

CEO of All4Labels Dr Guenther Weymans said sustainability had become deeply embedded in the company’s business model. “This approach has enabled us to drive progress not only in reducing our environmental footprint but also in setting new standards for innovation and people development,” he said. “The results achieved in 2024 mark a significant step forward as we continue our transformation toward 2030.”
