Anglia Labels has announced that former Amberley Labels managing director David Richards will be joining the company as managing director, effective 1 June 2026.
Mr Richards joins the company with 26 years of experience in the self-adhesive label industry. According to the company, his background includes technical innovation, customer partnerships, and business development.
The appointment comes as Anglia Labels, which is a member of the Digital Labels & Packaging Membership Group, continues to develop its long-term business strategy, marking a new phase in the company’s 45-year history.
Mr Richards said in a LinkedIn announcement: “I am really excited and pleased to announce that from June 1st, I join the team at Anglia Labels as managing director.”
“Working closely with Sophy [Moynagh, Anglia Labels director] and the team; this is such an amazing opportunity, and I very much look forward to reconnecting with so many industry contacts next month.”
In February, Anglia Labels said goodbye to its former managing director Ian Woodhead as he concluded a 46-year career in the print industry and 22 years with the Suffolk-based label manufacturer.
