Italian label manufacturer Albagrafica has installed its latest high-end label system, choosing a Cartes GT machine that includes two flexo units.
Designated as a GT368SSSF_HFSR, the system is configured for complex premium production said Cartes, and also incorporates four screen printing units, a hot-foil stamping unit and semi-rotary die-cutting. The manufacturer said the configuration will allow Albagrafica to expand the range of effects and finishes it can offer, supporting production in sectors such as wine, spirits, chocolate and other food products, where the label is a key element of recognition and positioning.
Albagrafica offers a service extending from consulting and label concept development through to design and full production, with an approach also focused on cost saving and efficient solutions, without compromising quality. It has invested in offset printing technologies for production of self-adhesive labels on rolls and was the first company in Italy to introduce dry embossing on labels.
The latest investment with Cartes strengthens a long-standing partnership between the companies, enhancing its production capacity with the aim of increasing quality, flexibility and speed of execution.
