Packaging supplier The Autajon Group has integrated Dutch labelling specialist Quality Label, strengthening its presence in the Netherlands and expanding its capabilities in everyday labelling solutions, particularly for the food industry.

Founded in 1997, Quality Label produces tailor-made labelling solutions supported by an experienced workforce. The Terschuur-based company operates in a dynamic industrial region and holds BRC certification, underscoring its commitment to quality and compliance in food-sector labelling.

Following the integration, the company will operate under the name Autajon Quality Label, continuing its activities with the same standards and customer focus that have defined its success to date. The Autajon Group plans to support and accelerate the company’s development in line with evolving customer needs and market expectations.

The new Autajon Quality Label site is located close to the existing Autajon Labels Nederland facility in Utrecht, reinforcing the Group’s operational footprint in the country. Autajon Labels Nederland will guide and supervise the transition and future operations, ensuring continuity, operational excellence, and close customer support.

According to the Group, the integration creates strong complementarities between the two entities, improving responsiveness and proximity to customers while consolidating Autajon’s position as a key player in the labelling solutions market.

“I am convinced that the customers and employees of Quality Label will significantly benefit from the integration into the Autajon Group, thanks to access to additional state-of-the-art technologies, high production standards, and enhanced innovation capabilities,” said Fred Vahle, representing Quality Label.

Gérard Autajon, president of the Autajon Group, added: “We are pleased to welcome Quality Label and its teams into the Autajon Group. This integration, in line with our core values, strengthens our presence in the Netherlands and reinforces our commitment to delivering reliable, high-quality labelling solutions to our clients.”

From an operational perspective, the move also increases flexibility and resilience. “This brings substantial additional production capacity, enabling us to further enhance our flexibility towards the customers of both Autajon Quality Label and Autajon Labels Nederland,” said Peter De Vries, managing director of Autajon Labels Nederland. “Our companies can now act as each other’s back-up, ensuring greater delivery reliability for all customers.”
