A B Graphic International (ABG), manufacturer of finishing equipment, has launched ABG Flex Pack, a new division focused on flexible packaging. The initiative marks a strategic expansion of ABG’s capabilities in lamination and finishing, areas in which the company already has established experience through products such as thermal laminators, the Digicon 3000 pouch finishing system, and shrink sleeve machinery.
The new division aims to consolidate ABG’s existing work into a more integrated offering for converters seeking end-to-end flexible packaging solutions. As part of this development, ABG has introduced a new thermal laminator, ThermoLam. The machine is designed to improve on previous models with a more compact, modular format that offers enhanced ergonomics, easier roll handling, and a more efficient footprint.
In addition, ABG has entered into an exclusive partnership with Galaxy Packtech, a family-run pouch- and bag-making machine manufacturer with more than two decades of experience and over 1500 global installations. Under the agreement, ABG will become the exclusive distributor and service provider for Galaxy Packtech in Europe (including the UK and Ireland), the Americas, Australasia, Japan, and Israel. According to both companies, the collaboration is intended to give converters access to a complete, scalable solution for flexible packaging.
A third product innovation is also planned, with further details expected to be announced later this year.

Matt Burton, ABG’s global sales director, said the formation of ABG Flex Pack enables customers to access a unified offering from coating and lamination through to pouch production. “By combining our new ThermoLam product with Galaxy’s world-class pouch-making systems and adding further innovations to follow, ABG Flex Pack provides converters with more capability, efficiency and the ability to diversify into one of the most dynamic packaging markets in the world,” he said.
